Exhibiting Art Work
- The Catharine S. Eberly Center for Women exhibits
art by women artists. Artists who are students or alumnae of The University
of Toledo have first priority in using the exhibition space.
- Artists are expected to install and de-install their
own exhibitions in the Eberly Center Gallery, including wall repair
after a show is taken down.
- Artists are expected to provide the following
for inclusion in the CyberGallery:
- Biography
- Artist's Statement
- Flyer Design
- Slides or jpg's of images installed in the Gallery
- Images will be maintained in the CyberGallery
after the exhibition in the Center is over.
- Timing is of the essence for publicity reasons and
therefore artists are asked to submit their slides and other materials
to our web publisher, Kaye Conner, as soon as possible.
- A list of each piece installed with its value noted
must be submitted by artists in order to ensure that the art work is
insured by the University of Toledo once it is installed.
- The Eberly Center for Women will provide publicity
as follows:
- Printing of an 8-1/2 x 11" flyer to be designed
by the artist which should include the words "University of Toledo
Catharine S. Eberly Center for Women" and the dates of exhibition
and opening reception.
- Printing of 100 to 200 postcards to be designed
by the artist. All mailing costs are to be supported by the artist.
- Mailing of flyers
to Campus departments.
- The opening reception will be supported by the
Eberly Center for Women with refreshments.
- Contact Kaye Conner at 419.530.8571 or by email at
mary.conner@utoledo.edu,
if you are interested in exhibiting in the Eberly Center for Women Gallery
or CyberGallery.
