Artist Statement

On display at the Catharine S. Eberly
Center for Women at the University of Toledo,

 Each of the twelve garden-themed quilts is made by a member of the Glass City Quilt Commission (GCQC), the not-for-profit host of the biennial Kaleidoscope of Quilts Show at the Franciscan Center on the campus of Lourdes College in Sylvania, Ohio, at which over 200 quilts will be displayed as well as offerings of quilting classes and vendors. The quilts will sell via silent auction at the conclusion of this summer’s show, July 21 & 22, 2007.   Auction proceeds will benefit the GCQC’s mission to promote, showcase, and heighten public awareness of quilts and their makers.
